bkfancydress.com ordering and returns policy

We want you to be happy with the costumes and other products you receive from us. We also want to give you a friendly, informative and helpful service. We’re happy to advise and help you select the products that are going to be most suitable for you. If you’ve got a question about sizing, type of material or any other issue please just call us 0n 020 8579 9135 or send an email bkfancydress@hotmail.co.uk

If you do need to return part or all of your order, you will need to follow the instructions below. We’ll acknowledge all returns by email or mail and refunds will be credited to the original payment method.

Returns

All unworn and unwashed merchandise purchased from bkfancydress.com website may be returned for a refund within 7 days from receipt of merchandise (postage costs for returns are borne by you). We sell our costumes in re-sealable packing so that you can check their suitability. All items must be returned in their original condition with the original packaging.

We won’t refund

  • items that have been worn, washed or soiled
  • items that are unsealed items, including eyelashes, tights, wigs and masks. This is for hygiene reasons.
  • some costumes include sealed wigs. If the costume isn’t appropriate please don’t open the wig as, once opened, refunds can’t be given.

How to return items

Before sending the items back to us, you’ll need to ring us for a ‘returns number’. Call us on 020 8579 9135 between 9.30 and 4.30pm Monday to Friday or email on bkfancydress@hotmail.co.uk so we can arrange for the return. You’ll need your order number, name and address so please have these when you call or include them in your email. When you return the item to us you’ll need to include the ‘returns number’. If this isn’t included it could delay your refund. Items purchased on the website must be returned by post. We do not accept returns ordered on the website in the shop.

Disputed returned items

Any items that we get that don’t comply with our ‘returns policy’ as identified above will be classed as ‘disputed’. Disputed items won’t be refunded or exchanged and we’ll give a reason for this decision. We can re-send disputed items back to you at a cost to you. If not we’ll keep them for 90 days after we’ve received them and then destroy them.

Late delivery

If the items we send to you arrive too late for your event, refuse delivery and it will be returned to us. Alternatively, you can return it as outlined above. If we or the couriers we have used are at fault, we’ll refund the cost of your items and the delivery cost. If you selected to use an incorrect delivery option or were not available to take the delivery we will not be deemed to be at fault.

Please note

Our returns policy doesn’t restrict your statutory rights to return faulty goods.

If you return a package to us we recommend you obtain a certificate of posting for your protection. Proof of posting doesn’t give proof of delivery. It’s best to use a service that tracks the delivery of the package.

Our suppliers hold the right to make changes to the products without previous warning. However, these changes should affect the general concept or quality of the product.
